The Transporter gets Refueled

After a not so successful trilogy starring Jason Statham, The Transporter franchise gets a face-lift with Ed Skrein (Game of Thrones) starring as the transporter himself, Frank Martin. Although Jason Statham is now known as a highly successful action star and the trilogy brought in over $230 million, The Transporter trilogy never received a fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Ed Skrein looks to turn the tables and create a critically acclaimed action-packed thriller in The Transport Refueled.

The Transporter 2

This film focuses on another mission for the transporter, this time transporting three women who are his enemy’s sidekicks. The former special-ops mercenary is then thrust back into his old life of dangerous missions, now facing off against a threatening Russian boss. With a French backdrop, The Transporter Refueled looks to provide the perfect setting to a familiar yet fresh plot from the franchise. With the movie’s runtime at 96 minutes, audiences will have to wait and see if this reboot will be action-packed and full of amazing stunts that the previous movies lacked.

Release Date: September 4, 2015
